9th Northwest Biennial
Tacoma Art Museum’s 9th Northwest Biennial features recent work by 24 of the region’s most compelling artists and is structured to prompt dialogue about the Northwest’s artistic strengths, trends, and potential.

The exhibition is accompanied by a 108-page catalogue with essays by co-curators Rock Hushka, Tacoma Art Museum’s Curator of Contemporary and Northwest Art, and Alison de Lima Greene, Curator of Contemporary Art and Special Projects at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and 71 full-color illustrations of work by the participating artists.

Also available are books featuring individual artists selected to participate in The Biennial, including the exhibition catalogue The Romantic Vision of Michael Brophy and Doug Keyes’s monograph Collective Memory ."
